Seven Steps to Make a Real Impact
-
Become a Friend of Lymington
Start helping our community now - it takes 2 mins and costs nothing, just tell us who you are and whether you can support Lymington as a volunteer, as a project manager, financially or in other ways. We will keep you informed about the Lymington community and future events.
-
Get involved with a community project
How often do you meet local people making a real difference to the lives of others? Lymington Community Foundation has made use of over 1,200 hrs of volunteer time since 2008. If you would like to find friendship and fun, whilst getting involved in a project, why not contact us and join in.
-
People with power, become a Patron
If you have a background in public life which could provide popular or professional support to Lymington Community Foundation in it's public activities, we would like to hear from you. Please contact us about becoming a Patron.
-
Share an asset with the community
If you have a facility which you might allow to be used under the responsible supervision by Lymington Community Foundation, whether you have a building, office, boat, equipment, license or facility which could be shared, please contact us.
-
Leaving a legacy to local projects
Say thank you to our local community and leave your legacy to help those less fortunate. Legacies in the Lymington Community Foundation Fund can be overseen by a specialist local lawyer and give the greatest flexibility to help those who need it most and make grants available to projects we know will make a big difference. Because they reduce inheritance tax liability, legacies are one of the most tax efficient ways to support our community. Contact us to learn about different types of legacy and the legal and accounting experts that can guide you.
