Lymington Community Foundation supports and raises awareness of projects that develop the cultural and creative life of the community, healthy living, a vibrant sustainable environment and employment as well as sports, recreation and social education.

Lymington Community Foundation has created a community network known as ClubLymo to reduce pressure on local groups to go through the expense of creating the community infrastructure our area needs to improve.

Lymington Community Foundation supports the Lymington Community Christmas team who decorate Lymington High Street and surrounding areas every year with the magnificent lighting display.

LymEco

LymEco is encouraging environmental and ecological conservation in the Lymington area. LymEco helps groups enhance local community spaces and the natural environment for everyone’s enjoyment.

A six week coordinated summer Festival across the whole Lymington area, promoting community events and a wide range of fun, inspirational, family activities in and around Lymington River, Lymington Town and The New Forest.

Marine Festival

As a fitting climax to the Lymington Festival, Lymington's picturesque harbour will be filled with marine events, life and colour with traditional classic sailing, steam and motor vessels, including the cream of the Old Gaffers sailing fleet.

Lymington Sailability

Lymington SailAbility is a charity that provides a safe environment in the Lymington River and on the Solent that allows our disabled sailors to enjoy the freedom and control that sailing can give.

Sea Water Centre

Local people have been sharing ideas about the Lymington Open Air Sea Water Baths since they were closed in 2008. This project has developed an online discussion group to involve skilled local people and community groups in exploring concepts for a multi-purpose Lymington Sea Water Centre.

Education Trust

The Marine Education Trust is dedicated to water-orientated learning in all its forms - environmental, geographic, historical and the arts. Its overall aim is promoting and operating educational awareness, community activities and local facilities which enable children and adults to learn about, understand, appreciate and care for the marine environment, particularly in Lymington and the Solent.

SK8Lymo

Sk8Lymo is building a sense of empowerment, self-esteem, local identity by encouraging young people in Lymington to engage in sports that require a high-level of skill, fitness and self discipline whilst engendering a positive social spirit that crosses many age groups.
Transition Lymington

Transition Lymington is working towards a more sustainable SO41 area by moving to a lower carbon society with greater emphasis on local provision of food, energy, goods and services.
