I love Christmas. I especially love Christmas in Lymington.
Lymington Community Foundation supports the Lymington Community Christmas team who decorate Lymington High Street and surrounding areas every year with the magnificent lighting display. We start in December with a brilliant Lymington Community Christmas celebration which continues to attract significant numbers to the town, giving fun and pleasure for all the visitors for over five weeks - keeping Lymington a vibrant and happy place throughout Christmas.
Lymington Community Foundation has given Lymington our long-term commitment to
bring the community together especially at Christmas time. In 2008 year
we raised over £20,000 for the Community Christmas in Lymington and
need to do the same again in 2009 and 2010.
The straw poll on Radio Solent voted Lymington ‘top Christmas Lights destination’ in 2008.
See the Impact that Lymington Community Christmas is having.

I really love Christmas in Lymington. I was delighted
to take time out from my busy schedule to join the 3,500 people in
Lymington at the lights switch on and Christmas Street Party
in 2008. The whole town was so vibrant and full of life and excitement.
I can’t wait to join in the Lymington celebrations this Christmas on
Friday 27th November at 6 pm – I hear the lights will be more sparkling
and the party even more fun. I hope to land on the roof again and meet
all the children and young at heart. Read more...
