An Introduction to Lymington SailAility:

Lymington SailAbility Lymington SailAbility is a charity that provides a safe environment in the Lymington River and on the Solent that allows our disabled sailors to enjoy the freedom and control that sailing offers.

Learn to sail, get trained and get RYA qualified.

Season is April - October

Sailing is twice a week if the weather is good (less than Force 4, warm and dry); four hours per session (2 hours sailing); what time depends on tides.
We need two safety boats (with a crew of two) per sailing boat. Helpers on the shore get boats out and rigged, assist Sailors getting into boats (hydraulic hoist), launch boats (adapted trailers), land boats (radio standby), de-rig boats and finish with a debriefing. Mixed ages, genders and abilities welcome.
Very social. Have fun in a beautiful location.
Fundrasing, publicity and awareness raising volunteers are much needed.
